The training course is a one-day training program covering basic first aid skills, including resuscitation. The course is recognised by the Child Care Board of Western Australia and meets the Level 1 - Basic First Aid standard as determined by Work Safe (Western Australia). The RLSSWA Essential First Aid certificate that is valid for three (3) years.

Course Information

Pre-requisite: Nil.
Course Duration: 8.5 hours. Certification: On successfully completing the Essential First Aid (HLTAID002) training course, candidates will receive the following awards:
RLSSWA Essential First Aid certificate,
RLSSWA Resuscitation certificate, Statement of Attainment that includes the following unit of competence from the National Health Training Package: HLTAID002 - Provide basic emergency life support.
